Smart Door Maintenance

The following advice and tips will make sure that you enjoy your Smart Aluminium Door for years to come. All moving parts are virtually maintenance free, but will benefit from a simple cleaning routine every few months.

Our doors require minimal maintenance

The frequency of cleaning depends on a number of factors, including the standard of appearance that you require and the need to remove deposits that could cause damage after prolonged contact with the powder coat finish or the metal substrate.

Your location is also important, for example, if your home is situated near to the coast, your door will need extra care due the extra salt in the air. As a general rule, cleaning should be carried out before a build up of contaminants/soiling or marks appear on the door’s surface.
